I got to see Adler last Saturday and he looks great and is a growing boy. I am jealous of all of his hair    :banghead:   Got this from Adler's dad.

QuoteHappy New Year to all of our prayer warriors.

First let me give you an update on Adler's condition. He continues to do well. Actually a little too well according to the doctors. After his last spinal tap and checkup, the doctors again said his ANC numbers were too high so they increased his meds once again.

His last tap went well. That being said. Last Friday we let him go to an airsoft night and shoot each other with airsoft guns for nearly 3 hours. I'm sure we lost our nomination for parent of the year. It took Adler almost 4 days to recover from all the activity.

He continues to do well in school and received another 3.9 GPA . Very proud of his work. He is also playing basketball for the school. I will attach a schedule at the bottom if anyone would like to see the kid play.

Finally I want to announce to you that Adler has been selected as Boy of the Year for the New Mexico Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. His job will be to encourage the participants in some fundraising and be a face so people can see what they are giving for. We are all very grateful for this opportunity. We ask that you pray that Adler brings glory to God and does a good job of being a good spokesman for the NM LLS

Tonight we pray for our prayer warriors. We have been so blessed by you and ask our Father to richly bless you with peace, prosperity, good health and many many opportunities to share your love of Jesus with others. As always, much love!!!!
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Reading that makes my heart soar like the hawk!

  Thank you, Lord. Keep Adler close and don't let him falter, Lord. Amen
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
