While we're at our own trials and needs, let's take a moment to lift our minds and hearts in prayer for the dead in Myanmar as well as their survivors who not only have come through terrible personal tragedy but face a very tough future. May God show mercy to our brothers and sisters in Myanmar.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I've been hit lately by how little I know about some of the country names that have been in the news. Today show travels were somewhere I never heard of and then this tragedy  hits another area I didn't know. Blame it on old age, but wow...makes you wonder with the story on the news of how their government is acting, if what aid is sent will truly reach these poor folks.

We have a big storm like hit the South and did all that damage, but imagine what it must be like in an area with no services such as this!

Lord in your mercy... hear our prayers and lead these people, through our help, to know Jesus.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
