I want to share want happen to me on Sunday at church, but first I will explain.
I like to do chip carving and I carve crosses.  Well the crosses I carve have gone to serval folks and as I explain to them I have not sold a cross because it seems the at or around the time I finish a crosses God tells me who gets it.

Well about a couple of weeks ago I started a crosse which I was not happy with so I modified it and thought it looked nice, here is a picture of it, it's 3x5 in.

Well sunday as I sat there waiting for the mass to start, I looked up to the alter and saw this

I think God gave me a message.

Here are a couple more I just finished and gone.

   3.5x7 inches

2x3inches

Sorry for the long post.

God Bless

TexMex,We have something in common.I do the same thing but I carve mine out of bone and Osage. They are small and I usually criss-cross wrap artificial sinew around the center and leave enough length that the person can do with it as they please.
I've never sold one either, but the payback is great every time I see someone wearing one.Take care.

Monkeyball,
I would like to see one of your crosses.
I thought that it was pretty cool the way God told me I am doing a good thing, maybe it's just me

Thanks

Gentlemen you do good work. "The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands." Deu 2:7
"For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete." Deu 16:15
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Jon Stewart

TexMex, did you post pictures.  If you did I can't see them and would like to.

Hey Juan those are beautiful!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

TexMex

Jon, I did post pictures, using Webshots.

Don't doubt that "nudge" from within, Texmex. That would be the Holy Spirit in us all.

Just keep following that nudge and keep sharing your beautiful work.  If you were to possibly get an extra one or two, I bet Terry would be proud to post them up on the St. Jude Auction!

They and prolly ole PENNA Moneky Ball's stuff would bless many who would receive. Maybe ole MB would want to donate one for the Auction, too!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Doc, I have donated two for St. Jude's.
This was last years cross.

Thanks for the kind words.

Doc,I can do that! Leave me know who it has to go to and by what date.    Thanks,Craig

Can someone step in here and help MB out about where to make his donation...maybe TexMex.

Sorry I didn't remember TexMex,I was in the middle of some tough times last year and only got to participate as a cheerleader pretty much... that, TexMex and I can't remember what I had for LUNCH, let alone what was on St. Jude last year!  :)

Hang tough, MB, someone will come along here shortly... I think the auction is sometime in May...but then with this bullet saturated sieve for a memory...

MB, when the St Judes auction was going on I posted what I was donating in the St Judes Auction post and folks bit on the items and one of the admins kept track when the auction was over as to who won and I mailed to the winner after Tradgang recieved payment.

It is easy.
Good Luck and God Bless.

TexMex that is awesome work.  It is truly a blessing to find ones calling to God's work.  You are gifted.
