update on grandson.......PRAISE!!

Let me start this post by saying that even though I don't physically type a reply on the daily prayer threads, I read them and pray for them daily. I am a slow typist and there isn't enough time in the day for me to reply to all of them, but I do read them and I do send them up. I want to let you all know how much your prayers are appreciated and to pass on the latest info....Baby Boy Bolin, as the doctors are calling him, is doing very, very well! When the doctors started Alicia on medication, they told her that it would hopefully keep the infection/av block from worsening, but it WOULD NOT make the baby's heart rate level out or strengthen. They also hoped that the baby would reach a weight of 3 pounds by week 32 and then they would feel better about taking him via c-section at this time. Well I will tell you without a doubt, PRAYER WORKS-at week 31 his weight is estimated at almost 4 pounds and his lower heart rate has INCREASED from 75-80 beats per minute to over 100 beats per minute! They are thinking now that he will not have to be taken early, but he will be born in late April or early May! The av block is still there and they are still looking at the strong possibility of a pacemaker being neccessary, but I don't think God is finished yet! Keep the prayers flowing as I truly believe that this unborn boy is covered in prayer and even the doctors say that they are witnessing a MIRACLE! Thank you and God Bless you all! Mike
