Well I just started checking this forum the other day and didn't think I'd be needing to post something so soon.

This morning we lost our beloved German Shorthair Pointer, Abbey. She was playing and acting normal and 6 hours later we were saying goodbye. She had a tumor on her spleen that either ruptured or ruptured part of her spleen and she was bleeding to death on the inside. Surgery and future prospects were very grim.

Anyways my wife and I are devastated. For everyone that's lost a dog I know you understand. Please pray for God's help as we mourn our loss. Thank you and God Bless!

Sucks man.  I know how it is to loose a family member.  Be it a two legged or four legged variety.  They are all the same in my books.  You can count on the prayers from Nova Scotia.
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

I know how close folks can be to their beloved pets.  Prayers for your entire family dealing with such an unexpected parting of a valued member of your family.  Pets are people too...

Blessings to you guys...

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

it is amazing how much a pet becomes like a member of the family.Been there myself. Be at peace and prayers sent.

Thank you for your prayers and support. Two hours after posting this I received word that a fellow co-worker had hung himself. Wow..two blows in one day.

I can feel the healing beginning. The new year can only get happier. God bless you all.

Tough time for people this time of year...

Suicide is one of those things that sometimes just pops up from what seems like nowhere... So sad that folks seem to feel so little connection to our Heavenly Father than this is their preferred recourse to sadness and being overwhelmed... truly a sad, sad reality of our times.

May the Lord bless us each to be more aware and vigilant of those around us, stopping long enough to offer a kind word or thoughtful deed. Help us to be more like Christ and aware of suffering wherever it exists.

Prayer for you and your family for the loss of your pet. We had to have our dog of 14 years put to sleep a couple years ago. That's the most hurt I'd experienced in a while. But God can get you through.
Also praying for your co-workers family. Prayer for comfort that can only come from the Lord.

Been through both of those, and my heart goes out to you and your wife.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved friend.
May the Lord comfort you in your time of grief.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss.  I have a two year old gshp female named Lilly, she drives me nuts but I don't know what I would do without her.  I will pray for you two and hope it gets easier.
