Surgery was a success. They removed 12 spurs around the ball and socket and repaired fraying in my rotator cuff I am asking the mods. to leave this up due too the following reason.  I for some reason have been deemed the carbon arrow guru and I get a minimum of 6-8 request for advice each day, well I really will not be able to respond to many of them as typing on handed kills me. It took 5 minutes to write this!  I will be up and shooting light weigth in 1 month as there was little muscle or tendon damage. Thanks to everyone f9or yuor support!!  Shawn

Glad to hear everything was a success. Here's hoping the healing process goes quick and smooth.

One month will seem to go a lot faster now than it would in October! Just go slow; to much to fast will set you back.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery you
miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where
you are going and why.

Great Shawn - heal well.  But 1 question.  What do you think of the different epoxies and designs of cross fibreing between the different carbon arrow makers and the effect on arrow flight when shot from different style traditional bows, including mongolian style horse bows and the like?

the tattoo is weds. and i am working on getting a light(35-37#)bow. i was shocked when the doc said i could shoot avery light bow within 25 days and up to 40#s by the muzzy shoot. he actually said with my type of injury it would be good physical therapy!!! trust me, i will do nothing not suggested by the physical therapist or the doctor. shawn
