Well gang the summer isn't even over yet and it's looking like I may very well lose another family member. Please remember my Grandfather in your prayers. He is 92 years old and has been hospitalized with heart failure. He has bladder cancer and to top it off his lungs are beginning to fill up with fluid. He got me started 40 years ago shooting an old Ben Pearson bow and its been an addiction ever since. Pop is ready to pass on and meet his lord face to face. His faith is strong which makes it all the more eaiser for us. He told me son if you know the Lord. When I pass I wont be just someone in your past, but I'll be someome waiting for you in the future. Thanks ahead of time for your prayers

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers for you, your family and Grandpa.

what a neat man and a neat real view of what our Lord promises.  When mom learned she was terminal, she was the same: filled w/ peace, love, joy and hope. It does make it easy to let go... who'd want to hold someone back from such Glory?

Peace, power and praises of thanksgiving for such a wonderous role model. May the Lord keep you, and your grandpop in the palm of his hand.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
