Urgent prayer for my daughters friend

It appears that my 15 year old daughters friend and her family have some issues that the state has gotten involved with. The mother and a child services worker called my wife today from school today asking her if we could take the daughter in and let her live with us for a while. Please pray for this young girl and her mother that God will mend the problems and that he will get the Glory for healing this broken home. PLEASE PRAY

While I was over here on this side I thought I would give a little update on this young lady.
She is now living in Fla. with her Grandfather. I have spoken with him and he has informed me that his daughter, the young girls mother has some very serious mental and denial issues, reckon them two go together.
She left us at the begging of summer but came back to visit with us just last week for a few days. While she was with us she found Christ at a youth confrence that my children went to. She has called us everyday that she has been in Fla as well as called me on fathers day to wish me a happy fathers day. Yea,, this fat man broke down on that one. Please continue to pray for her as she is having to growup fast for a 16 year old.

Thanks for the update...and for sharing. It brought a tear to my eye to hear of her salvation and how she's responded to you/your family. Very cool.

God surely does work in quiet ways through us fallable mere mortals when we open ourselves to His bidding.  Congrats for hearing the call and opening your lives. Many might not have or done it less well.

We all smile when a child comes to Him... and she might be growing up fast, but He's in charge!
