My son leaves in June for Fort Benning. All I ask is you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I so proud I could burst but I'm still his dad and worry some.

Been through that but my son went Air Force. Both the proudest and scariest day of my life. You and your son are in my prayers.
Don't sit around and let things happen to you. Instead get busy and start making things happen FOR you. Get involved!

Prayers sent. Also give that boy a big hug and a salute for me and tell him thanks for what he is doing.

One of the hardest days of my life was dropping my son off at the hotel when he joined the Navy. The hour and half trip home was the longest quietest drive I ever taken.

Praise God He had His hand on my son for his entire 4 years in the service and I truly believe it was because of the prayers of his mother, myself and all our friends!

You and your son have my prayers! Be Blessed and tell him thanks for me for serving this great country!
John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Be kind and merciful. Let no one ever come to you without coming away better and happier. -Mother Teresa

Prayers for continued emotional and spiritual growth for you Son and that God's Son watch over him daily through his basic and throughout his tour!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
