It is with deepest regrets that I inform you that David Baird, one of the founding fathers of North Georgia Traditional Archery, was laid to rest yesterday. I know no details, Donnie Kinard found out about it at the league shoot last night. I'm very sorry that we did not know so that we could have done something special in honor of David and show his family how much we respected and cared for him as one of our traditional archery family.

If anyone has Mrs. Baird's contact info, please post it so we all may pass along our condolences. I personally would like to at least send her some token of my sorrow.

Your prayers for his widow and the rest of David's family and friends would be appreciated.

Sad how easily folks of proportion in life just often slip past and into their Reward without anyone knowing. Part of our mobile society I guess, Joe.

prayers for strength, peace and power of the Holy Spirit to be on David's family and friends.

In your own way, I think you did just honor him with your post, Bro...  :)

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
