So, I bought a bunch of cool broadheads, ended up with a forged Pearson, Case tapered ferr. Chester brown, but this one I have no clue on, and it's plastic serrated. Anyone know that maker, and also what it may have been used for? The plastic I can see was a two piece mold pressed.

Your head is a 1974 Battlestar IV

wadde

The Battlestar IV was made from 1978 and 1979 the date was wrong on the previous post.

The Battlestar  was made from nylon in two and 4 blade and sold by many dealers as small game heads.

Thank you for this information.

I believe Shane has the Battlestar II. This is the Battlestar IV.

Rick -

In 1979 Roger sold complete sets of all 20 heads to us collectors who were in touch with him. A few of us bought multiple sets. Today only 37 years later, it is rare to see a complete set in someone's trader box.

More good information. Thank you Wade. This head looks very neat, but as far as it being usefull; I had to question it. I have yet to put this head on a grain scale. Feels very light.
