Howatt Diablo help

Could someone tell me the year this bow was made?

Wow...some nice old Howatts showing up these days...nice that Larry Hatfield is still around to fill us in on those and even he sometimes gets a bit stumped...the fact is a lot of the charm of those oldies is the fact there is often a bit of mystery surrounding them

Hello Norm,

The limit of my knowledge is that it should be a pre-1963 build, but you probably already know that.

As stated, Larry H. would be a good source; I would also try a post on the LW if someone doesn't chime in here.  

Rust glass belly and green glass back - I do not believe I have ever noticed a Howatt with two glass colors before.

You are welcome Norm, I am glad you were able to find out.  Now I am wondering what was the first year the Diablos were produced?

I had a 1957 Diablo, can't remember for sure, but I am thinking that might have been the first ones.
