Hi all. I just picked up an Adams archery recurve bow- it's got a bubinga and rosewood laminated riser with an accent stripe. Black fiberglass on the limbs, with bubinga tip overlays. It's 62" overall , and has the specs hand lettered onto the side of the riser, and are as follows:
62"
1000
AA895
52#

On the bottom limb it has a silkscreen that says :
Adams archery
Veneta Oregon

And that's all the markings on the bow. I knew don Adams a bit, and asked him about it. He said that the prior owner to the Adams archery name lived in veneta Oregon, but couldn't remember his name. Just wondering if anybody here knew more info? It's made excellently , honesty the fit and finish is as good as any of the 1962 bear Kodiaks, with a slightly thicker high gloss finish on it. Ant ideas?
Thanks!
