thank you for the add.. I recently purchased a Fredericks yeoman made by Fritz jonk from an estate sale and was looking for any info/ value of this beautiful piece. I haven't been into longbows until recently and seen this bow and price and couldn't walk past it. Very nice piece but I really can't find much info on it myself and was referred to this forum. It is a very nice bow in amazing condition.. Thanks in advance for any helpful info. Looking for value, age, quality..

If memory serves, Fritz made about three models.  The Yeoman was the plainest of the three.  Very nice design, incorporating a fair amount of reflex/reflex.  His bows don't come up for sale much, in part because there just aren't very many of them, so it's difficult to say what it might be worth.  I think his high-end model was called the Legend, and there was another in-between that I think was called the Baron.  Models differed in wood inlays, number of laminations, trim, etc., not design as far as I can remember.

Justin, I believe Frederick longbows were built just outside of Hornick, IA years ago.  Fritz is a stand up man and his work was amazing.  I believe his top of the line bow was the Regent and it had diamond inlays on the limbs.  I believe he tapered his limbs as well.  He quit building bows in the late 90's or early 2000's I am pretty sure.  I will try to dig out a brochure form years back that I got when I visited his shop.  VERY nice bows you don't see too often.  Enjoy it!
