With respect to the old type I and II risers, I know Bear built less C's than others, and they are supposed to be less valuable due to being though of as target bows and less collectable.  I don't know that I've seen a lot for sale, so I was wondering how much difference there really is in value. I had a B/#2 60" bow and couldn't get rid of it fast enough, it stacked like a truck at my 30"+ draw, but it was just gorgeous and rock solid. Putting #2 limbs on a C seems a lot cheaper than #3 limbs on a B, and easier to get a 50# bow that way, since most of the C limbs are light.

If anyone could shed some light on the real difference, I'd appreciate it, as well as relative availability if I was seriously looking to buy a type I/II C.

Thanks!

I wonder if there is somewhat of a catapult effect with a longer riser and short limbs..or am I out to lunch?
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.
