I have a buddy that wants to know what bow he has. He found it in an old house he was cleaning out. It seems to be missing part of the upper handle. All the names/stickers are missing parts of them sooooo not much to go off of. Any and all info appreciated. It looks like it says "gam-eze" and was made in st. croix, mi.

I have always been amused at how they made a bow look like a fishing rod.   :archer:

Sal

I think it was made by a fishing rod company, hence the name.

bamboo

I heard for a solid glass bow they are surprisingly good shooters

Those bows were actually made as early as 1939 and on to years after up to the 1950's. They came with wood handles and cork handles.
