A Kodiak listed as a 59 RH today on the bay, looks to be a lefty and maybe a early 1960, the year I was born. Its has some stress lines...could you give some advice on this one as far as year and if it could be a shooter. Thanks, Roy

Yes it does look like a early lefthand super rare Purple Heart ibeam copper coin 64" 1960 Kodiak cool bow.bowdoc

Isnt that serial number indicative of a early 60 also.  I was thinking most of the 60 Kodiaks serial numbers started with a number.

Cool bow, If you're interested, better ask the seller not to end the auction early.  I've missed a few lately that went to the early buy it now scammers.

that is a rare bow,the first purpleheart ibeam 1960 Kodiak I have seen on e8ay, rarer yet at 64" ... and then it is left handed to boot. You won't see many like this come around very often. good luck... too bad I don't collect lefties...
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Crap thats a cool bow.I have seen 1960 Kodiaks in 64" with purple heart ibeams and I will double check my book today, but I think that one would be only the 3rd I've seen...bowdoc
