What brace hieght do you guys shoot your 64 inch 59ers at.

Any suggestion on what strand count B-50 would be the best shooting on it.The bow is 47#s at 28,

would you recommend padding the loops on a B-50 to protect the tip overlays better on this old bow?

These sure shoot nice and smooth and quietly. The 64 incher fits me well with my longer draw length.I will be hunting with it this Fall in MI.I am looking forward to it!!!

Thanks for any suggestions

Jeremy

I have a 52# 64" Kodiak set at 7-1/2" (recommended range topped out at 7-3/4") and I'm drawing 30".

All my old bows get a 12 strand B50 string with the loops padded to 14.  Most hover right around 60# at my draw.

And since you didn't specify, my 64" '59 KSpecial likes just under 8" and my 64" '59 Polar seems to be real sweet at 7-3/4"  :)

Thanks Jeremy

Mine is not the special or Polar. Its a kodiak with Rosewood riser and I beam construction.Copper coin, brown glass back and orange glass belly.I will check into a padded loop B-50 at your suggestion.

SH you can brace the 1959 Kodiak at anything from around 7 1/2" to 8 1/2" pending where it's the quitest shooting for you...bowdoc

Sounds good TRB.I started at 7.25 when i got the bow.I twisted her up to 7.5 and shot it today.Very quiet bow.I will try higher yet and see.
