Looking for info on the dating of this bow, even the correct brace height. The grip has been changed, that's about it.

hi phil, the top# is the date OCT. 1956.my dad was a teamster here in western pa.for 45yrs.one of his stops was the carvotta brothers in e. mckeesport,pa.i remember going with him to the factory there when school was out in the summer. i have a hornet exactly like yours except its 43#.my 1st bow which i still have&shoot is a 49# blackhawk bee.

Thanks Anywingcurve I thought that number was the clue. What is your Brace Height? This bow says 41# but feels more like 50# and is Abit less than 62"
I had to lower the rest, it was at 1/3/4 don't know why,it sure made the Arrow do the up down at ten Yards.Tried changing the nok height first, did not seem to help.Of coarse it could be My Primitive Fletches.
This Bow Is in really good Condition. Thanks again
