INFO: Trad Archery for Bowhunters



Odd 69 Bear Super with 72 Sk silk sc.......

I was working on a TG members 1969 Bear Super Kodiak and was kinda noticeing the upper silk screen was on the belly rather then the back.Thinking wow is this the first super k they tested and then went to the silk screen on the belly in 1972-ish and still do today...But with the keen eye of the refinisher,I noted...nope she's a factory refinish from sometime after 06 or 07 of 1972...I ai'nt gonna tell ya how I know for sure as thats top secret info there...but what I will tell ya there is no star stamped or anything stamped to indacate a factory refinish or blemish.Here is a pic of the belly side of the upper limb..Wish I would have taken a couple more pics...but you can see what I'am talking about....bowdoc

Hi Brian I emailed everyone earlier on and could not join in the knife swap....I just got to busy to finish...keep me posted,I actually thought I answered your emails when I got back from Canada on monday sorry if I did not...
