Bear Polar? What year do I have?

I have a Bear Polar longbow,And would like to know what year I have.The ser# is p-11579.The bow has reddish colored glass with a leather grip.It is 65" unstrung.Any input would be appreciated.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

If you have a picture (s), you will get an answer pretty quickly.  I took this picture after I replaced the leather on the grip.  Is yours shaped like this?
 

Are the limbs straight or do they have a curve to them?  Is that the color of the glass your's has?  Does it have decals on it?  I've been told mine is probably 53 or 54.  It measures 64"

Hello Ron,
The one I have looks just like yours.Mine is 48#.Do you have any idea what it would be worth?I'm going to be putting it up for sale to help pay for a Shrew longbow I have on order.Thanks for all yor help.
