1969 Bear K Mag / Wood Types Different Years

Anyone know what type wood was used. I think it it beautiful looking wood. On another note can someone fill me in on the woods and year they  were used making the K Mag's.

1969 was mostly Shedua. Having said that, yours is Tigerwood aka Goncalo Alves which was used on several models - namely the Grizzly and Bearcat in 1968. I have a beautiful example of the 68 Grizzly and Bearcat. Yours is also a little less common black overlay variety. Beautiful wrong-handed bow!    :p   CKruse

Yep, I just ran across it. He's pretty proud of it too! I think the seller would look a little more competent if he would turn the Hoyt rest right side up!  :knothead:  CKruse

Trap, if you look closely it's actually a LH rest, but it's upside down!

Cmon Now, that's a RH rest.  The pat pend is below the Hoyt Symbol.    And the little triangular piece of nylon is what the arrow sat on.  I think.

You are right Trap, the short arm is what the arrow sits on. I was reversing which was which.  Right handed rest on a left handed bow! CKruse
