I picked up a recurve bow that is in rather good shape and has very nice laminations. It is right hand and on the bottom limb is written  W559,
38#@28",  White Wing(with a small wing coming out of
each "W" , 66" . Just wondering if this had any collectable value or if anyone knows anything about this brand. Thanks for youe consideration. Cotton

A picture of the bow would certainly help but if the data is "written" as opposed to a decal or sticker, I believe that it is a mid to late 50's model. The data was usually written in black ink on the belly side of the bow just below the heal of the handle as it fades to limb.

Wing didn't produce many catalogs in the 50's that I can find, and only a couple of flyers and ads, so information during that time period is limited.

I have a handful fo these bows and paid $50 - $125 for them, but that was quite a while ago. There are a few Wing collectors out there and the price would depend on the bidding war resulting over the bow purchase.

I have sold quite a few of those white wings and they were target bows and nice shooting bows. I don't think I ever sold one for more than 110.00. Hope that helps.
