I just picked up a 52" Kodiak Magnum today.I've been looking for a 48" but I've been unwilling to come off the money everybody around here wants for them.I got a good trade on this one.Anyway,What I'm wondering is the serial # is KU41466.Does that mean it was made in 1966?

Benha

No it was made in the 70's. I just picked up a 72 Kodiak Hunter and a 70's KMag 52"

Benha

70's serial numbers start with K

Also,The previous owner had mole skin glued on.The glue residue is still on the bow.I shot a little WD-40 on it but it didn't loosen it.Any idea's?

When I change my side plates/Bearhair I use "Goo-Be-Gone",you can get it in most hardware stores.

I squirt a little on a paper towel, clean off the glue residue, then I rinse it off with a wet paper towel and dry everything off.

I have never had it hurt the finish, spray and wipe with a little furniture polish and it looks like new!!!!!
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

Chuck,I traded the 52"Mag for a 48" Mag yesterday.Lem Buzbee took Goo Off and I watched the glue  disappear.I now have a can.I was after a 48" all along.Thanks for the info.Eddie
