Any info on a friends bow...

I have a friend who's father passed away and left a bow to him,he doesn't use it and does not want to sell it but was wondering what it is and what it is worth.I told him if he got me the info I would ask the guys on this web site.So here is the info that is on the bow:

Action bow,By the makers of action rod,Husting(or hasting,trying to read his writing)Michigan,#8600 56 1/2" string.

If anyone could offer any info it would be greatly appreciated.Like I said,he doesn't want to sell,he just grew up watching his father use it occasionally and has no idea what it is or what it is worth.thanks in advance...jim.

Beyond telling you that I'm 99% sure it's Hastings, Mi nothing is ringing a bell.

Hastings it a little west of Lansing and has a history of archery companies being located there.
