I've been shooting my dad's Wing Thunderbird, it's 52" and 51#.
It also says a Head Ski Co., does any one know what year it might be, I'm thinking about 1970?

PAPALAPIN

Head Ski Company was the last series of the Wing line

Bob Lee sold out to AMF, who later sold to Head Ski.  I think you are right on with the year of 1970, although it may have been a bit later.  We lost our Wing expert when WINGNUTS passed away.  He know more about Wing bows than anyone I know of.

I have a Thunderbird in my collection.  It is a good shooter if you like a short bow.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Thank you PAPALAPIN,
I havn't shot the bow in 20 years, but I put down the compound this year and now I'm adicted to shooting the recurve.
The calouses are forming well on my bottom finger! it pinches a little.
