Im going on a Buffalo hunt this fall and not sure if what Im packing is enough bow.  Im shooting a 50lb Martin recurve drawn to 28in.  THe current arrow setup is 29in.  Goldtip carbon 8 grains per inch weight tube, and a 250 grain 2 blade zwicky (125 gr. steel adapter).  this gives me 696 grain arrow weight on my digital grain scale.  I have no experince shooting buffs so not sure if this will get the job done or if i need more bow.  THanks for any opinions

Commitment is like bacon & eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed....

Your set-up will work, but it's all about shot placement. It's important you know how the vitals lay in the animal your trying to harvest.Have a safe hunt & good luck.

You gotta let us know how this one turns out.

Good luck

Sounds light to me for a Big Bull...maybe not for a 2 year old bull or cow....ask Doug Campbell.
