Cast Iron Recipes

[The Vanilla Gorilla]

Fellas, I need some new cast iron recipes. I'm tired of my same old stews and meat cassaroles, and I'd like to see what everyone else cooks up. Everything from bread making, soups and stews, ciders, omelets, meat and veggies, questionable concoctions...whatever you got.  I'd also be interested in seeing some griddle recipes, too. So far, all I use my griddle for is blackening meat and frying eggs.

Order a copy of Cee Dub's  " Dutch Oven and Other Camp Cookin" by C. W. "Butch" Welch.
 He used to do the cooking section in TBM and there are alot of recipes  that you are looking for.

We have ate some great dutch oven meals and as I receive more, my wife will be adding them to the site, so check back often.

Also, she uses "Google" quite a bit to look for new recipes by searching for "Dutch Oven Recipes."  Hope this helps.
