how about some recipes for catfish filets on the grill. I normally keep things pretty simple but I'd sure like to hear YOUR tasty favorites.

thanks

I brush with melted butter and sprinkle with old bay seasoning. Be careful not to overcook. Good eatin!

This weekend I had some catfish nuggets that were marinated in Hotsauce and Lemon Juice and then placed in a alum. tray. They set the tray on the cool side of the grill and cooked for a long time.   The catfish was juicey and had a nice flavor.   It was pretty simple.
It made the big ol flatheads pretty tasty.

been cooking catfishon charcoal for a few years now, pretty good stuff. but I recently found something even better. You can use ceder, but I use oak as I have a abundant supply.  Take a board big enough to lay out your fillets and soak in water, I usually keep them soaking overnight. Then place  on your gas grill on high, when it starts to stem and smoke add your fillets, I usually season with lemon pepper. the smoke and steam make for a great moist taste.  This works great on about any meat.  when your done you usually can resoak and get another cooking out of board. This will slow down the cooking a bit but its hard to overcook , meat will be really moist,

I know the grill was the ? here and that all sounds great but I do fish and chips with my catfish and it is the best.
I use Aunt Jamima pancake batter but instear of water I use Micalobe beer. I dust the Filets with lemonpepper and then flower, Dip in the batter and deep fry. Let drain on a screen serve on a plate with crispy fries. It's the bomb!
