Shoulders and Back at Full Draw

My son is in physical therapy school and we were discussing the muscles used in the drawing of a bow.  I snapped this photo of him at full draw so that he could anaylize all the different muscle groups.  The  picture shows just how many muscles come into play.  He is shooting 3 under.  He likes the higher elbow and it works extremely well for him.

I didn't look like that in my wildest dreams. In fact, I don't think I even HAVE some of those muscles.    :biglaugh:   He is one fit dude. What poundage is he drawing BTW?

Geeze Tim.  Nothing on me looks like that.  And  I have been to physical therapy too.      :notworthy:

What I found interesting is how clearly you can see the shoulder blades touching.  I personally tend to over draw a touch and pull my chin off the target.  Full draw in the picture for my son is very relaxed without over pushing or over pulling.   His back muscles basically show he has reached the position where he needs to be.
