Here is a video that shows how my release works. I made a change and went to a wider strap for the trigger It makes it better to hold more secure feeling. You guys with the bad fingers this release puts the fun back in archery.

What do you use to stitch the strap to the wrist piece and do you stitch the end of the strap for the trigger ... that really looks slick and your release is very smooth. I need to find and old wrist release to modify ... thanks for sharing

This is what I have been using. The end is eight layers thick or about 3/8 inch so I use one of those hand stitcher's to sew it. I keep changing my design to see if I can make one simple easy to make. I think I have it now I need to test it out today.

Thanks Roger ... I'll start looking for the material to make one. My fingers don't bother me too much while I'm shooting it's the after that they hurt and my ring finger is starting to lock up straight after a good shooting work out.

I tried a regular wrist release once and it was interesting how easy the draw became when the stress was not on my fingers. I'm sure my draw length would increase and I could easily increase my draw weight. It just didn't seem right to use a release so I went back to fingers.

Thanks for your input and I look forward to trying something new.

Best to ya,Ken

Great idea Roger, I think this can help a lot of people with similar problems, have you thought about using it with maybe sewing a piece of leather to the string side for maybe smoother release and longer lasting than the strap material.

Very nifty idea.  I think you might be on to something there.

What a neat idea! I made a couple to try and like how it feels. I hate feeling the string with gloves or tabs.

I started shooting pinch grip and think I like that the most. Tried a few different ways.  It seems to be very clean and so much easier for me to use my back and wrist than fingers. I don't need a glove at all, or I can use a glove without a problem.  Doesn't seem to matter.
