9/1 in Delaware shot with a 40 lb Bear 59 and a 550 gr footed cedar arrow and Grizzly Instinct at 18 yards. I thought it was a complete pass thru as the arrow disappeared but when I gutted the deer the cresting was in the chest...sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

This WV buck was a 14 yard shot with a #44@30 BW PMA, cedar arrow and 140 grizzly. I draw about 29 1/2. Hit was behind the ribs going in and it stopped against the off leg bone. Plenty of penetration to get it done. I wish I would have known long ago just how effective the lighter bows were. I wouldn't have shot such heavy bows for so long. BTW. That is the sixth big game animal that particular grizzly head has taken with that bow. It only took a little touching up to make it ready for #7! Great heads.

I took this buck on 11/2/18 using a 56" Toelke PIKA 40#@29".  I used a homemade cedar arrow 5/16" tapered, with a grizzly single bevel.  Shot was around 10-12 yards broadside.  He ran about 80 yards.  Hit was in lungs, broadhead went between ribs and hit offside shoulder.  No blood trail, no blood where he lay, but with shoulder keeping arrow from exiting this is understandable.  I'll try to post a pic of him hanging so you'll have a better idea of his size.
