How many have two bows. One for every day shooting, leagues, small game. The other one for Big Game hunting. If so, what are the poundage differances?

2-BIG

I have about a dozen or more bows. I have bows in the 50-60lb range for deer and big game but when my shoulder bothers me or it gets real cold I switch to one of my 45lb bows. I also have a few 45lb bows for bowfishing and some 40-45lb bows for small game!

I am relatively new to Taditional archery and have two, 55 and 71.

I am have been fly fishing for years and have 10 or more fly rods but find I use only one or two.

For those of you with mutiple bows do you find the same thing?  How often do you shoot your bows other than your favorite?

I HAVE TWO BOWS!...I Have Two Bows!...Do I Win?... ;) ...Thought not... :( ...Anyway...

I'm luckey enough to own two BW TFVs...48# and 51# @ 26"...Use the 51# for 3D, stump shooting, big and small game, the 48# is a back up bow...(that keeps me from buy'in another bow I don't need)... ...

Well...There was a time when I had five bows...Sold three to new trad shooters and made them very happy...Myself...Don't think I need to own more than two...That dosen't mean I don't DREAM of owning two dozen... :D ...Been down that road with firearms...Not gonna repeat it...

BUT...I have over 100 2016's ready to go and over 4 dozen carbon arrows just waiting to be shot!... :jumper: ...Does that count for something?

Let's see, there are thirty in the living room...
lemme get the dog, I need more toes. Actually, in theory I try to shoot all summer what I intend to hunt with in the fall. What actually happens, though, is that I run across something real special at a shoot, buy it, and agonize over my blown shooting for the rest of the year.  "[dntthnk]"

I tend to build two or more bows for myself each year.  One in the 46-48# range that I use for 3D and general knocking around including spring and summer hunting.  Then a 55#+ bow for hunting elk, moose, other BIG critters etc in the fall.  I tend to switch back to the lighter bow for whitetails when I return to Texas.  This years bows are horn bellied BushWackers.

I allways had two bows "need" one for a back up.LOL.Over the years I kept two recurves then a recurve and a hybrid  and up until recently it's two hybrids.. They are  a Chaparral kaibab 60"s 55#s at 27" draw and my new hornes brushbow 58"s 54"s at 28"s so at my draw 27"s she's 51lbs.Just received the Hornes Sat if you want to seepicks check my thread.I have a Shrew Chameleon on order 53"s at 28"s that will be a 58" long bow also. .However, I won't receive it until next October.
