I'd like to see some pics of the jackets.   Without the hoods or kangaroo pockets.  I see one there, plaid 01 I like

Yes. Sorry. Should have clarified. Most personal pictures I've seen are the hooded versions.  I haven't seen any pictures of the jackets with the exception of the Asbell site

Yep, I've seen the kamikaze members come and go over the many years I've been around.  Word has it that his 'daddy' didn't pay and everyone else is the bad guy. If he's gone, good riddance and I hope he doesn't cause y'all anymore grief.  Good work all around guys.  :clapper:

Nice looking Canoe coat the Miss Model is donning. I remember seeing the Green one that was showcased at the LTR earlier this year, and the Asbell Wiseguys that were posted.  A lot of those were the collared jacket as well.

Terry Green

VROOM, did you not follow the LTR thread earlier this year?

If not check it out, I posted lots of guys with their collared Jackets.

Thanks.  Taking a look now. No doubt, the anoraks and canoe jacket  might be more functional for me.  I'm wet all the time, day and night walking the country home each fall and the hood, lengths and weight might be better in those models.   But I do like the simplicity of the regular collared jackets.   Only concern is weight mostly though. I see some of those othets are the blanket heaviest weight. While the collared jackets are heavy weight only.   Wondering if there's much of a difference.

I primarily wear wool .  Right down to socks.  Rubber boots up hear is the dress shoe in the fall.  GF gets crazy.   But theres water most places you walk. I will not put rubber boots on without my aunts thick thick wool socks. Even in the summer. They keep your feet dry by absorbing most moisture.  Also keeping the boots snug preventing chafing.  Pants, quiet passing by brush as well as jackets.   It's harder to come by. And these Asbell wool jackets I'm only just getting acquainted with.  They are good prices for wool products.    When wet, it's more tolerable than material made from petroleum products that are clammy on the skin when wet.  Every material has its place, but I'm wet so much that I generally go with wool.

My collared jacket is NOT heavy, its the lightest weight material I've ever owned from Asbell. The Canoe coats we have are, mine heavy, my wife's mid weight.  Anorack heavy.

I'd give he a call and discuss what she can use for a collared jacket. I know you can get a one way or two way zipper.

Which model is that. That's the blanket weight I'd imagine.

Nice looking wool garments being posted here. I also saw all the pics on the LTR.

Sorry threads take a turn like this one did, then he apologize for hijacking when he knew he was. Word is already getting out to vendors about this guy. I use to say, where do these people come from, what are these people thinking, how do they get through the day. Now, nothing phases me anymore. I can see why his daddy didn't pay.

I've had my Asbell stuff for years. If I ever need more, I wont hesitate. (I'm eyeing that canoe coat)

I bought one of the heavy grey pull over Anorak's with the Kangaroo pocket.   I couldn't get used to the pull over design, just didn't like it, then I took to a local seamstress and had a full length zipper put in the front, now it is my go too for most of the season.   :clapper:
