Got one finished up for this years seasons. 64" 58@#28" Osage selfbow with rattler skins, Ostrich leather grip and shelf with a beaver tail strike plate. Vinagroon stain. Bocote/purpleheart tips. Top limb has twist both ways and had a few inches of natural reflex from mid-limb out to the tip. Great, well balanced shooter. Hits where I want and seems pretty quick. Unbraced pic is immediately after shooting, it holds a little more reflex in the top limb, but both have some after resting.

Nice!  Ive yet to successfully make a good stickbow. I always seem to crack the tips when I go to heat bend reflex into them.

Cool looking bow!   Is it just the photo, or is one of those limbs holding more reflex at the tip unstrung?   She looks pretty decent at full draw though...

Question?  How did you get the white dots along the edge of the limbs? Paint pen perhaps?  That is a cool decoration idea...     Kirk

Kirk, thanks!  Yep, had a few inches of natural reflex on the top limb, still has more than the bottom. Had fun tillering

I used an acrylic paint marker with a medium tip for the dots.
