This was the 1st bow I did, Maiden Voyage, with a standard flat belly tiller.....

This was the 2nd bow I did, Bear Necessities, with Dean's facet tiller technique.  You can see the flatness in the fade out area on the last pic that turns into a faceted dome.....

Terry,
Nice looking bows - what weight are both of those?
What type of finish did you use - those look nice.
Did you start with some pretty nice staves, or did they require some heat treatment.
Sorry for all the questions, but I've become obsessed with selfbows and have staves all over the place - always eager to learn new techniques.
