I was very lucky

Went to look at a stand site we hadn't put up yet

Saw him coming and stepped behind a huge locust tree and when he came thru I mouth bleated and stopped him

About the time my brain said turn it loose he lunged forward and it hit him in the hip

Trying not to puke I watched him run a hundred yards and circle back

Another arrow on string and I shot him in the neck on the run

Led him too much I guess

Neck shot killed him in 130 yards

I'd buy a lottery ticket but I've used up my allotment of luck for this week
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Very nice Mr Kenny! You did good to hit him running. I would have fallen apart after or probably before the first shot. Glad ya got him.

Congratulations Kenny, making a habit of getting those nice ones.

You Done Good....Really Gooo! Again
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Congrats on a great buck Kenny!

Way to stick with it and get him killed. Things don't always go right and I'm glad it worked out for you.

I had one go that way this year too. My son's tracking saved mine. That's a beauty!

Awesome buck Kenny!  That brings to mind the saying "I would rather be lucky than good".  But both of those are true about you!

Well done Kenny.  His neck doesn't look swollen in the pic is it just the angle?
