when mounting a 2 blade broadhead on the arrow do you  have  it horazonal or vertial or dosent it mater

Friend

Does not matter from an arrow flight standpoint in my experience. However, some have mentioned over the years that at the vertical position, heavy crosswinds may cause flight issues.

Personally, I always set mine in the horizontal position to keep my sight picture unobstructed.

I like mine vert as i cut my arrows to length and use the back of the bh as a draw check against my finger.

Horizontal for me,because a really good bowhunter told me to do it that way about 56 years ago

I used to put mine at 11 & 5 oclock so when i drew back and canted the bow the big broadhead would disappear...  nowadays its however it lands.

I mount mine horizontal, so I don't have a sight in front of me at full draw.  It's just a distraction to my focus on the critter.

Regarding friends post and I hope he doesn't mind my thought?
I don't think any crosswind would affect flight. The arrows spin and imo the feathers would cause more wind flight issues but I can't be sure. Now if it was stated if you hold at full draw crosswind might put side pressure on the bow I'd agree to that a little cause bow quivers would do lots more.
No dis on friends post.
To the op I just throw the arrows on with screw ins. Wood arrows get a 45 degree for some reason

As long as they are mounted straight and true, it doesn't matter how you do it. Put them where you like them. I have my own theory and I like them horizontal, but that's just the way I like it.

I mount mine to where they spin true and don't worry about it.
