It appears that there is a small twist in my PB lower limb, as I look at the belly the string wants to track right and not return to the groove.  Is there anything that can be done.  I have brace just proud of 7 1/2".

Brace at 7 3/4" and first shot the loops popped off and slid down the limbs.  On a positive note the arrow hit dead center.

These are fun bows for sure. I keep mine set up for bow fishing. Bounces off rocks and boats and water like a champ

Put a limb protector on the bow and might add some additional wrap to hold the string.  We'll see how that works on Monday, when I'm not working.

I'll add my 3 PB bows. Left to right, a 50# 100, a 45# 300 and a 50# 600.

I posted on a few other pages but thought I'd add to this one for anyone's future reference.
I did some chrono testing with my 3 PB's using the same arrow, a 478g Outlaw. I realize the one is a 45# and the other 2 are 50# but it is what it is. If I get a chance, I'll try and go back and redo the 45# to equal the gpp of the others.

The PB 100 50# shot 173.4fps @ 31.92fpe at 9.56gpp and 64% efficiency.
The PB 300 45# shot 165.4fps @ 28.94fpe at 10.62gpp and 64% efficiency.
The PB 600 50# shot 170.6fps @ 30.90fpe at 9.56gpp and 62% efficiency.

Efficiency is FPE / draw weight. I'll try and get a 9.5gpp arrow with the 45# so they're more indicative of each other.

Terry Green

Onski316, FPE is an acronym I must have missed.  What does that stand for?

I know that the one I shot of Patrick's that was 55#s with a 535 grain arrow was no dog!

Terry, foot-pounds of energy. The figure that takes into account the weight of the arrow and it's speed generated by the bow.

And I'm needing to clarify my figures some. My 50# PB 100 came in at 57.8# at my 29.5" draw. The 45# 300 came in at 49.2# and the 50# 600 came in at 52.2#. So the 600 was about right on. The 300 is more like at 47# and the 100 is more like 55#.

Terry Green

Ah, gotcha. I use the momentum formula as the test.

C'mon man.  That is one of my bows that he is doing.  I was saving that as a surprise.

Terry Green

Patrick, I was sure that was your bow after the sneak peek you gave me.

Seriously?? Sorry to have spoiled the surprise, it's quite a coincidence anyway, the world is small... In any case he made your bow a unique piece, good job
