Hey Everyone.  I recently received a nice bear polar in the mail.  it is 56" and 40 pounds.  It has white glass, a Zebrawood I beam and what i think is nicely figured bubinga on the sides of the riser.

I have never seen these in a 56" version.  Can anyone shed some history on what year this bow might me?  think it will brace a 7.5"-8.5" ish?   I dont have a string for it yet.

someone showed me an old Bear add.  the zebrawood/bubinga riser with "yellow glass" is a 1964 model.  the 56" was made for youth, ladies, and "those who prefer the short draw".

works for me as I only draw 27".  I can feel the start of the stacking though. 28" would have this bow maxed out.
