A few months ago Walt Francis and I were discussing selfbows and Mickey Lotz's(the Ferret) Floppy Rule, for laying up and building selfbows. Walt told me he has some he printed on Mylar and said he would send me some to pass out. Well, a few days ago they showed up in my mail box. Walt apologized for the late delivery. With his Alaska trip, hunting season and his bow building classes he completely forgot about it. That is very understandable. I told him not to worry about it because next week I'm going to the Tenn. Classic and they were just in time for that.
After cutting out the rules I have 30 to bring to the Classic. I will hand a few out in the bow building shed and put a few on the raffle table to help support the Tenn Classic.

I see some using them but never looked at one.

How is this measure used. Sure looks interesting.

Michael, Mickey's Floppy Rule has the measurements for the tip width, handle width, handle length, fade lengths, limb widths and where to place the string nock for building selfbows, all of this in one simple, flexible ruler.
