Just got registered yesterday with 5 other buddies to go shoot at the Crystal Mountain event in Michigan, can't wait! This will be my 5th (6th?) year shooting and its been a blast every time! Anyone else going to be there?

Not there, but will be shootong the broken bow event for the 2nd year. A lot of fun if you can get a trad group together for it.

Our group will be 50/50 trad and compounds. Should be a lot of fun. None of the other guys have ever done of these events so it'll be entertaining at the very least.

My group was/is all trad. We just traded through and chose challenging shots. Tried a few crazy shots from the stakes. Had a blast for sure

Just got back from the shoot this weekend. For those who have never tried one of these, you're really missing out! They are an absolute blast, regardless of what you're using to push your arrow. Can't post any pictures since I don't think I have any that don't have at least one compound in them, but the courses are super fun, very challenging, and will definitely push you past what you would generally shoot. I ended up losing 2 arrows on the 100 targets that we shot (5 course, 20 targets apiece), which I figure is more than worth it for the amount of fun we all had with it. Saturday afternoon we had a completely trad group. Only 2 of us shoot consistently, so the hit ratio wasn't super high, but I'll guarantee we had the most fun out of any other group on that particular course that day. We tried letting the group behind us shoot through, but were told "Hell no, you guys are way too entertaining to watch!" We're all looking forward to next year.
