I'm not much for light colored handle material but this is one of my favorites. Stabilized buckeye burl, red liners, stainless guard and 1095 blade steel. As soon as I get a chance, I'm going to put another one of these together.

I had a friend that had the same idea as you....so needless to say it will be on his side this fall! I'm thinking ironwood on the next one.
