Mine still don't work either. I have been on TG a long time, well before the new format rollout, and could never make them work. I tried drag and drop but was told to use point and click. Point at what and click where? It would seem that some setting in a profile must be turned on, but where? What, exactly step by step, is the procedure to use them? This is all very confusing to a simpleton, such as myself.

point and drag does not work either.  I don't think they have worked since the switchover happened.

there's nothing to work out, all the smiley icons have been working since day one of the cutover.

just position the cursor in your post for exactly where you wish to insert a smiley, then select and click on the smilely you wish to enter into your post.

if you can't see or use smiley icons, check the settings in your browser.

yup, it was a browser issue.

staying away from all microsoft products is a good thing to consider.  which is why i long ago ditched windows in favor of linux mint (which, unlike microsoft, is entirely free and it comes with a complete set of excellent productivity apps).

my browser of choice continues to be firefox.

my email app of choice continues to be thunderbird.
