Labored on Labor Day and got this one finished. Steel is 1084 with Mesquite and Juma. Gray liners with nickel silver pins. Sheath by Joses Leather.

Very nice and great combo of materials, well done. There's just something about a classic drop point like that that catches my eye!

Thanks KSCATTRAPR!!! He's another of the same pattern I'm working on. A few "firsts" for me on this one. Steel is 1075 with my first Hamon. First time working with sheep's horn and first domed pins. Handle shaping and more work on the pins to do. I'm gonna try to leave as much of the character in the scales as possible for a more rustic look.

Another beauty! Sheep horn is one of my favorite handle materials!

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
