Albany, Albany, Albany.  The Full Inclusion Crossbow Bill has found its' way into the final version of the Senate Budget Bill.  Senate Bill S1386A, would allow for Full Inclusion of the crossbow into the entire archery season.  Within the Senate Budget Bill S7508B, is the language that would allow this to become law.  Instead of going through the proper legislative process by going through Committee and then getting voted on, this was strategically and sneakily placed where it can be lost in the shuffle.  Please contact your local Senator and Assembly Member and ask to NOT Support such legislation.  The crossbow is not a bow!!!  Thank you.

Crossbow language was NOT included in the final Budget Bill.  While this is a nice victory in preserving the sanctity of the archery season, Legislative session resumes in a few weeks, am I positive that the pro-crossbow Lobby will be back at it.  Thank you all who took up the charge and called, wrote, or emailed.

You fellas do a great job of letting us all know when to activate our political power in Albany. Crossbows make me crazy!

Thank you for taking action when needed.  Without the support of our membership, like you, and other like-minded people, this battle would have been lost long ago.

That's just an awful prospect. I just sent another email to my legislator with a little education about what is a bow and what is a gun........

It is unfortunate that most Legislators do not know what a crossbow is.  Once they see the pictures, the videos, and the advertisements, then they have the " a-ha" moment.  We are going against a full blown, paid-for lobbying agency whose sole purpose is to get full inclusion for the crossbow.  It is not a BOW!!!
