After many failed weekend afternoon/evening hunts, I finally got a goat! I never thought I would be successful out on the prairie. Especially since there has been a lot of rain here lately and the antelope can drink in many different locations.

Late this afternoon all the pieces came into place. I was able to keep a small hill between myself and this buck until I got in close, and had some good luck with the bucks movements from there.

I could barely drive back home I was so amped up.

This place is awesome! without you guys, and the information that you share I would have never been able to make this happen.

it still feels unreal

Wow! Taking a nice antelope on a sneaky stalk is pretty impressive. You should be very proud!

He is an odd duck for sure, I'm not a horns hunter so I don't have many racks and none with bows. This is my favorite one now though   :)
