First time posting here on Trad Gang, although I believe our fellow Trad Gang Member, mikewarren33 ( I typically just call him Mike in real life), has been kind enough in the past to feature a kill or two of mine.

Contrary to first look, I am not in any way shape or form jacked or in shape. Nor did I lather myself in baby oil prior to taking this photo. I am merely a sweaty fellow who struggles mightily with the 100 degree Texas heat. I was blessed to harvest this sow this past week with my Black Widow PCH X 60" w/53# @ 28".

I owe a shout out to mikewarren33 who has successfully converted three of his closest friends to the trad life. I thank him greatly for it has given me a new perspective on hunting and what it means to harvest an animal. Look forward interacting with you folks on Trad Gang and hopefully I have more photos to share soon!

Brandt, I appreciate the shout out. But it isn't me that deserves credit, it is you for taking the leap on your own. I merely provided you with an idea, and you have run with it.

Brandt, you are amongst friends here and we welcome you into the fold. My heart is full to see your conversion to trad life. Also, getting congrats from Bisch and Sam on your kill and inaugural Tradgang post is like getting your first big league hit and having Hank Aaron and Willie Mays call you after the game...

Congratulations!

Now that's a realistic photo!
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

Congrats! Enjoy the trad journey
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
