On 10/05/14 I was fortunate to take this sow with my Damon Howatt Super Diablo recurve (60# @ 27", 610 grain arrow, 2117 with glue on adapter and 160 grain Woodsman elite).

I was able to achieve total pass-thru on this hog and a short track to recover.  The hog went into the thick bamboo and I had to wait till the morning to recover the hog in the daylight. Breakfast sausage and roast has been quite tasty.

Nice pig.. Good shooting. is that just lime green foam in your quiver, or something else. It sure is different

I glued some green foam in over the other black foam to make it a bit thicker.

This hog has been great tasting.  I kept the meat in a cooler on ice for at least 7 days letting it drain before I processed.  The roast has no game taste at all.  The steaks are awesome.  We used this recipe for the steaks.  Guys give this a try.

Crockpot Ranch Porkchops!

Wild Hog pork chops
1 can of Cream of Chicken soup
1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix

In crock pot layer pork chops, add the cream of chicken soup, then sprinkle dry Ranch dressing all over.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours OR Low for 6 hours.

Really tasty!
