I just got back from Port Sulphur, Louisiana on a bowfishing trip with Bow Deadly charters.  I was with Bisch and Nathan (bornagainbowhunter) for 2 nights of incredible action.  Limits of reds were shot by all of us each night, and lots of alligator gar, and a few sheepshead and black drum.

Here is the take from Thursday night.  Left to right is myself, bornagainbowhunter, and Bisch.

Congrats to all 3 of you guys. Man I sure would like to have been there with you all on that trip. That is some great bowfishing. Thanks for sharing.

You guys are the "cleanest" lookin' bowfishermen that I have ever seen after a couple of nights of fishin'.

That picture does not show it well, but I was so dirty after the first night that I decided to wear the same shirt the second night so that I would only ruin one!

Nathan was putting on a pretty impressive shooting display for us.  He was routinely hitting fish so small that I was amazed that they could get impaled on the arrow!

Oh, and he also caught a bird with his bare hands while the airboat was running across the water.  The bird got up in front of us, and he stuck hand up and caught the bird like a line drive.

Brian, I wont hardly tell anyone about that bird.  NOBODY will believe that!!  We did have a blast...I always have a blast with these 2 on trips.  They are a hoot!

Brian was nice enough not to tell everyone that he shot the 2 largest gar of the trip.  

I enjoy shooting the small fish as a challenge, but Bisch smoked one just to prove a point.  That shot was quickly followed with a "i can too" nod!!

Awesome trip for sure.  I would recommend Bow Deadly to anyone!!

He was shooting at WAY smaller ones too! I told him if he could stick one of those minnows I would give him $20. He did not get the cash, but it was not for lack of trying!

So, those alligator gar eat good too? I guess next time you go to that place, you won't have to hire a charter if you have your own boat?
